Once again our volunteers went the week with only one request for assistance, but like the week before, a winter storm dumped 7 inches of snow on our community. Chief Riker again requested manpower to stand by at the firehouses in the event an emergency should arise. On Wednesday the members checked hydrants to ensure they were clear of snow.
An early morning truck fire on Thursday at 03:22 had Engines 1 & 2 responded. Units arrived on scene to find a minor electrical fire.
