The week was a some what slow week for our volunteers. Monday, units traveled to Wyckoff to participate in an ice rescue drill (see story below). On Thursday and Friday members paid their respects to fallen Marine Sgt. & Westwood firefighter Christopher Hrbek who was killed in the line of duty while serving his country.
Thursday’s drill was an SCBA re-certification and mask fit at Co #1.
Friday brought a request for a Fire Officer to check out an unknown alarm sounding at a business in the Stop & Shop mall.
